I'm Originally from Kyoto, Japan, I studied design at Saga Art College in Kyoto. After graduating, I learned ceramics under Sachie Kimura, a ceramicist in Kyoto. Before coming to the United States, I worked for a housing material and lifestyle market company as a coordinator / designer and sales promoter, and then I worked in a traditional kimono design office.  When I was in my 20s, I got a kiln and studied ceramics on my own. I used to live in several places in the US and Canada. While living in New Hampshire, I taught ceramics classes to both adults and children at the League of NH Craftsmen.  

 

My work mixes the original with the traditional and modern elements of Japan.
